early life & present
Minju Lee was born on March 1, 2000, in Seoul, Korea. Minju and her family emigrated to Chicago, Illinois in 2005. She currently has two younger brothers.
For Kindergarten, Minju attended Pierce Elementary School, before moving to Edgebrook, where she then attended Edgebrook Elementary School. For her high school years, Minju attended Lincoln Park High School and participated in the International Baccalaureate Program (IB), where she received her high school and her IB Diploma. Minju currently attends Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
Throughout her high school years, Minju participated in a variety of programs, involving herself in the arts, sports, and volunteer activities. She attended the North Branch Arts Center and took an IB Visual Arts class, played soccer in her junior and senior years (and became co-captain in her senior year), and volunteered with the Chicago Bird Collision Monitors and continues to actively volunteer at the Evanston Animal Shelter.
Minju's interest in photography began in her freshman year when she won a class photography contest on a trip to the zoo. Since then, Minju has pursued her interest in photography and in other media.
